Tip Off

As most introductions go, I guess I should start by telling you a little about myself. Firstly, let me say I will not be using my name in this blog. And the reason is not a sinister or deceptive one. Rather, this will be a most personal diary in which you will be privy to. I’m gonna write stuff in this blog that I won’t tell my closest friends, so remaining anonymous is probably the best way to go.

I work in a public hospital, and for the most part, sit at a desk in a cubicle wasting my days away. It’s a good, steady job where I organise patient schedules and fill out paperwork for pharmaceutical companies, but just knowing that this will be the rest of my life if I don’t make a change, I’m determined to do something about my future.

My dream is to be a screenwriter and actor. Yes, this sounds vain and pathetic but let me tell you, I’m not some pretty arthouse whiteboy who’s a waiter in the hollywood hills.

In this blog, I’ll try take you on my adventures trying to make it as a writer/actor while holding down my regular day job. I’ll also give you my two cents on current events, movies, sports, whatever I want really. Its my blog, I do what I like.

Now, to explain the name of my site: myheroiszero.

For anyone familiar with the NBA, you will know Gilbert Arenas AKA Hibachi AKA Agent Zero. My site name is obviously a reference to him. Because he is my hero. Along with many other people, he is one of my many inspirations to chase my dreams and really be my own man. Because if you do what everyone else does, you will have what everyone else has. Not to be melodramatic or naive, but I truly feel the best thing about life, is that inspiration is free.
